Yahye Siyad

Yahye Siyad is Diversity & Accessibility Lead at Cyber-Duck; his mission is to ensure accessibility is woven into the DNA of Cyber-Duck’s culture and its work designing human-centred digital services and products.

Born in Somalia with a visual impairment caused by retinal dystrophy, Yayhe grew up in the Middle East, has lived in 4 countries and travelled in over 50, using his white cane to navigate the world independently and a screen reader to access the internet. A Team GB Paralympian athlete at Goalball and UN-certified disability awareness trainer, Yahye founded Inclusive Horizons providing consultancy to leading brands such as Mercedes and the Emirates. Yahye is a life coach, author of The Unshakeable Will and currently planning for his PhD in Digital Inclusion. In 2023, he was selected for the BIMA 100 in the category Champions for Change: People.
